Costumes / Producer
Tammy Jarvis earned her Bachelor’s in Technical Writing and Editing from George Mason University. She spent almost two decades doing makeup and hair for theater companies, while helping occasionally with props, sets, and costumes. She has also taught Theater Makeup Classes for youth, and enjoys the weekly Shakespeare class that she continues to teach from home. NVP gave Tammy the opportunity to dip her feet into helping with costumes in Elf, Jr. and Frozen, Jr.. In Spring, 2022, she took on heading the costume committee for Beauty and the Beast, Jr., which allowed her to draw on the costume design class she took while in college at George Mason University. She loves doing costumes, as it allows her to be creative in a new way while still working with the actors and parents - which she loves doing!

Alexia Jarvis grew up with a passion for theatre. She acted in her church’s Easter pageant as a kid and helped backstage on both the makeup team and the props team once she got older. She helped with makeup for NVP’s spring 2017 show Into The Woods and has been with NVP ever since. Her first time leading the makeup team was for NVP’s spring 2022 show Beauty & The Beast. Theatre is one of her greatest joys in life, and she loves working with the moms and the kids at NVP!
